🌍 International Fashion Week Hawaii — May 23

Later in the month, I was invited to walk in International Fashion Week Hawaii on May 23 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom.

The energy was electric. Being backstage with models, artists, and creators from all walks of life reminded me of how fashion—like food—is a universal language.

It was a celebration of global creativity and diverse expression, and I had the honor of walking for four incredibly talented designers:

Designer Beth & Brian Qipao- Their chic, modern Asian-inspired pieces brought sleek energy to the show.

Designer Justin Ryan– Known for pushing boundaries with edgy, high-fashion denim.

Designer Kiel Ortega – Whose designs felt fresh, bold, and full of island influence.

💃 What These Runways Represent
My journey back into fashion wasn’t about chasing nostalgia—it was about fully embracing who I am now: someone who lives for the joy of food and the art of fashion. I’ve always believed both are forms of self-expression, and being vegan doesn’t mean giving up glamour—it means redefining it. Whether I’m plating a dish or strutting down a runway, I want to show that you can live harmoniously, dress fabulously, and stay rooted in your values. Living plant-based is cool, conscious, and yes—utterly chic.
